We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Data Engineer (Senior) to join our team in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA.
You will be working in an organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.
The Data Engineer (Senior)is a part of a team that will support large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications.
The Data Engineer (Senior) is responsible for utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights. The Data Engineer (Senior) is also responsible for finding and designing new approaches to handling, analyzing, and using large volumes of data sets; exploring fundamental issues with data handling, search, and retention; solving complex data and storage issues; designing new software coding to improve data search processes; designing, testing and validating the quality of the data and data processes; and analyzing and reporting results with actionable recommendations. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA and is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Top Secret clearance to work the program.

Minimum of 8 years' experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field.
In absence of degree, additional years of experience may can be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience with:
Entity Resolution, developing and implementing methods to identify and link records across different data sources that represent the same real-world entity (e.g. person, organization, product)
Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for tasks like text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition
Databricks and Spark
Natural Language Generation (NLG) models for tasks like text summarization
PyTorch, Tensorflow, Python, Scala, CoreNLP, and Transformer foundational models
