CACI seeks a talented Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Springfield, VA.

What You Will Get To Do:
As a System Engineer, you will be working with a staff of 60 Operators, maintainers and engineers spread across two locations (Springfield, VA, and Denver, CO) where you will be part of a real-time operation providing special communications to users around the world. Operations are of the highest priority dedicated to the mission and seeing that the user is supported in every way.
More About This Role:
The System Engineer will be responsible for understanding the complete end-to-end Tasking, processing, evaluation, and dissemination of information to system users.
Familiar with the NRO System Integration Standards (NSIS) and support acquisition milestones from a site perspective.
Partner with our Tier 1 and 2 maintainers staff to evaluate discrepancy reports and provide feedback to acquisition offices to deliver fixes to future deliveries.
Work with the Cross-site operations staff to continually review system CONOPS for efficiencies and enhancements to mission execution.
Providing engineering support to maintain the operational baseline to high availability standards is paramount, and review boards are conducted each month with the various acquisition program offices.
Work with the end customers to discuss performance assessment of current operations and provide insights during user interface meetings.
Responsible for integration and test requirements for Image processing of multiple sensor types with emphasis on Synthetic Aperture Processing (SAR), and working with 24/7 operations teams to understand system performance and operability issues and provide feedback to developers to incorporate enhancements in future builds.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and five years experience or an Associate Degree and nine years of relevant experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, and must be willing able to upgrade to higher level polygraph
Required Skills and Experience:
Review system performance and identify system improvement areas, RFCs submitted by acquisition offices, and impact against the site baseline
Maintain a master schedule of integration activity and support factory demonstrations and installation activity
Work with the TIER 1 and 2 personnel to understand system issues and help resolve system discrepancies and feedback information to the acquisition offices, and Perform System Performance Analysis (SPA)
Attend user interface TEMs to discuss current mission performance and assess future CONOPs
Review and develop COOP CONOPs and procedures
Experience with configuration management
Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills in a mission-critical operational environment
Monitor and track Discrepancy Reports
An understanding of IT fundamentals - hardware (servers, switches, routers, etc.), software, networks, databases, SAN storage, applications, Virtual machines, and with Enterprise Monitoring tools.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Working and communicating effectively with government project officers and senior leaders.
Familiarity with NRO and NGA Ground and space systems
Familiarity of Spacecraft capable of image processing is desired
Good communication and briefing skills are highly desired.

$85,800 - $180,200
