Summary This position is being filled under the DoD Direct Hire Authority for the DoD DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) and are subject to the restrictions of the DoD referral system for displaced employees. Responsibilities Serves as a Store Worker in one or more departments of the commissary store (e.g., grocery, produce, warehouse, etc.) performing a variety of duties involved in receiving, handling, marking, preparing, displaying and maintaining the stock of resale items. Position responsibilities include: Maintaining adequate stock of resale items. Identifying any obvious spoilage, damage, and out-of-date merchandise. Receiving supplies, equipment, and resale items. Operating a computer system that calculates and marks prices and determines weights of merchandise. Transporting items to shelving and display areas.
