We are seeking a Physical Therapist who can lead the administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Clinical Education portion of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program. You will be responsible to establish student placement, monitor student performance and insure the maintenance of clinical partnerships. You will also be responsible for teaching didactic information in the classroom setting giving students hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and provide academic tutoring support in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
Developing, monitoring, and refining the clinical education component of the curriculum.
Coordinating and implementing clinical education to include site placements, site visits and evaluation.
Student counseling and advising.
Classroom and laboratory instruction; course development.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapist program- Masters Degree required; DPT preferred.
Licensure, certification, or registration as Physical Therapist as appropriate for the state of Florida.
2 years of experience as a center coordinator of clinical education (CCCE) and/or clinical instructor (CI), or experience in teaching, curriculum development, and administration in a physical therapist assistant or physical therapist program.
Clinical or educational administration experience preferred.
