In the Global Packaging function, we focus on Innovation, Research, Sustainability, New Product Introductions, Cost Savings, and Quality. You will be responsible for driving the agenda of your product category amongst a talented team of engineers.
In this role you will need to capitalize on the following:
Building strong and personal relationships with partners to influence and drive packaging solutions that drive people, planet and profit corporate results
Pro-actively lead and own the technical direction of core food and delivery packaging platform solution initiatives
Conduct and own category broad industry trends & opportunities landscape
Manage and collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to create leading solutions
Design, develop and execute new packaging solutions with customer learning plans, lab technical testing protocols all the way through to tooling and line qualification.
Ensure technical rigor is built into our timelines. Proactively manage and communicate risk.

We'd love to hear from people with:
5 years professional engineering experience with consumer product and/or retail packaging.
Degrees in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering.
Solid understanding of packaging materials, package/product systems, packaging equipment, and packaging performance testing. Sustainable packaging experience a plus
Ability to operate independently with guidance.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
Project management skills, including measurement and development of performance metrics.
