Job Description:
Works under direct supervision and provides low level oversight of secure enterprise network architecture. Responsibilities include: Tier I support and administration of vulnerability assessment software, IDS/IPS, vulnerability remediation, and SIEM. Acts as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team in identifying and responding to security incidents. Assists in real-time analysis of the organizations security posture to include wireless, firewall, web application, UTM, and risk assessment. Assists in the research and recommendations of projects involving Information Security. Experience: Applied experience with developing and leading security incident response and vulnerability management. Applied experience with network, system and application access control concepts and integration. Applied scripting experience for security tool configuration and maintenance. Applied experience with SIEM, vulnerability management systems configuration and management. Experience with industry security frameworks, regulations and standards.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in information technology, information security, or relevant field of study and 5 years of experience in information security or as a server, desktop or network analyst
OR
Associates degree in information technology, information security, or relevant field and a minimum of 7 years experience in information security or as a server, desktop or network analyst
OR
A minimum of 9 years experience in information security, or as a server, desktop or network analyst
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current industry recognized security certification preferred (CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CSIS, etc.) preferred.
