Job Description:
Acts as a lead, manager and administrator for task(s)/project(s) effort. Serves as an interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on technical and task/project issues. Supervises project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress. Manages and controls financial and administrative aspects of the task/project with respect to contract and task requirements.
The Tasks involve feedback, policy and technology analysis to develop assessment criteria, metrics for evaluation, and interview and reference check questions. The assessment criteria will measure organizational efficiencies demonstrated by feedback from FAA Office of Aerospace Medicine Organizational Assessment System key stakeholders), current processes/technology/structure, and recent achievements ... all to ensure AAM is performing at its highest potential.
Restructure workforce consistent with quality management principles
Stakeholder: Re-establish metrics and quality standards with stakeholders' input.
Technology: Develop analysis plan to produce a data-driven methodology
Processes: Process map main/critical processes adding value and eliminating waste.
Based on the results of a comprehensive evaluation report, AAM should re-establish appropriate metrics and quality standards based on FAA/AVS/Stakeholders' needs. Quality metrics are critical in assessing the performance, effectiveness, and overall service delivery. Further, they provide objective data that can help AVS understand better AAM's successes and organizational needs.
First Hand Experience in service within FAA Office of Aerospace Medicine Organizational Assessment System Support is highly desired.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a related field and 5 years of performance based management and supervisory experience in most of the foregoing functions with respect to technical programs/projects. Master's Degree may be waived with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10 years related program management experience on technical aviation contracts. PMP or equivalent project or program management certification is required and must have 3 years' experience.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
