We are looking for a Warehouse Inbound Compliance Assistant Manager to join the Volcom team at our Irvine Distribution Center!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Warehouse Inbound Compliance Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily Return warehouse operations and assisting the Warehouse Manager
Ensures accuracy of item description and counts for all incoming shipments. Notifies the Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies of materials versus shippers' documentation.
Ensures accuracy of all UPC numbers for all incoming shipments
Ensures friendly, efficient and professional customer service.
Receives, inspects, verifies, processes, and routes all materials into the facility and off-site facilities (remote sites) and enters the receipts in the Materials Management software system.
Manages the Returned Goods process according to the Returned Goods SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
Produces reports and statistics as required.
Identifies and resolves quality issues by implementing preventative and corrective actions.
Manages and supervises Return-Authorization tasks and projects.
Manages defective and discontinued product process
Follows up on appropriate procedures and maintains documents as necessary.
Handles processing of returns and interface with WMS (scale) and ERP (full circle)
Maintains daily return reports
Responsible of overseeing E-commerce return process
Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1-2 years of Warehouse RA experience
Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to proactively demonstrate sound judgement and safety management practices
Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks
Frequently required to climb or balance; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
The noise level in the work environment is moderate
This position requires all hours worked from our Irvine Distribution Center
