Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain management company, is seeking a Pit Equipment Operator to join their team. As a Pit Equipment Operator, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the Order Pickers team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating pit equipment and the ability to accurately inspect contents for accuracy, pick specific boxes, pack items to arrive to customers safely, label and palletize boxes.

What's the Job?
Operate pit equipment to pack orders brought to the shipping area by order pickers
Accurately inspect contents for accuracy, pick specific box, pack items to arrive to customer safely, label and palletize boxes
Stand on feet for entire shift, bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs (team lifting required for items heavier than 50lbs)
Use carts and roll items ranging from 65-75 up to 200lbs
Work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
What's Needed?
Prior experience operating pit equipment is required
Ability to accurately inspect contents for accuracy, pick specific box, pack items to arrive to customer safely, label and palletize boxes
Ability to stand on feet for entire shift, bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs (team lifting required for items heavier than 50lbs)
Ability to use carts and roll items ranging from 65-75 up to 200lbs
Basic 7 year county by county background check and oral 6 panel drug screen required
