CACI is looking for candidates to work an exciting opportunity to expand our customer's portfolio of services into government cloud technologies. This position will require members of our cloud team to research current hybrid-cloud offerings and government cloud technologies to engineer solutions on how to migrate services from on-premises hosted services to C2S.
About the Role:
Manage, operate, and deploy AWS GovCloud/SC2S/C2S components, accounts, services, and tools in support of AF DCGS.
Work closely with Cloud Engineering team (AFRL), vendors, and other support staff to identify, resolve, and document incidents.
Operate and manage cloud-based infrastructure, network operations, capacity and resource management, service metering and operational cost oversight, disaster recovery and mitigation.
Create processes designed to measure system effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Seek ways to enhance systems operations, with a focus on automation and minimizing cost.
Build and support effective metrics for production services.
Plan for adequate capacity of systems based on utilization metrics and planned projects to establish supply and demand forecasts.
Work closely with internal team members and other stakeholders to review proposed changes and help devise post implementation verification routines and system health checks.
Communicate impacts of change to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
Coordinate with patch management teams as well as teams involved in services upgrades.
Aid in maintaining compliance of the cloud environments.
Engage with management, risk and compliance teams as needed.
Participate in rotating 247 on-site support.
Support automation in the cloud environment.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
BA/BS Degree in STEM field or Equivalent Experience.
3+ years of operations experience providing application infrastructure support.
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Experience administering web-based applications is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Candidate is expected to have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Competent in AWS EC2, AWS VPC, AWS CloudWatch, AWS S3, AWS IAM, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI.
3+ years of experience implementing and supporting AWS or equivalent cloud enterprise solutions.
Strong infrastructure background in the provisioning, deploying, operating, and maintaining of enterprise storage, compute, and network solutions (preferably in the cloud).
Network security concepts such as IPsec, VPN, SSH, and TLS, also experience with application solutions such as load balancing, forward/reverse proxy, monitoring, and packet inspection/troubleshooting.
SDLC, ticketing systems, tiered support workflows and processes.
Operating in agile environments.
One or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Developing plans, policies, and procedures to control and monitor application status for the cloud environment.
Backups and disaster recovery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in AWS, SC2S, and/or C2S environments.
Experience with supporting a DoD or IC System Program Office regarding operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Strong understanding of operational best practices, configuration management, and security controls.
One or more AWS or Azure certifications.
Expertise with DNS, Active Directory, Puppet, networking, and protocols.
Expertise working with AWS, Linux, and relational databases.
Expertise in cloud methodologies to include IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
