Let's talk salary. The salary range for this position based on what we are asking you to do in the role starts at $65,000 and goes up to $90,000, based on qualifications. Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-orientedmid to senior level Subcontract Administrator. The Subcontract Administrator will provide proper subcontract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications and acts as the primary interface between subcontractors and G2 Ops for all subcontract related issues. This individual will manage and administer company subcontracts and will provide contractual guidance and work with business development/proposal managers, pricing teams, contract administrators, program managers and other company leaders. The Subcontract Administrator is also responsible for all phases of the subcontract lifecycle including subcontractor RFPs/cost proposals, subcontract negotiations, subcontract administration, invoicing, financial reporting, subcontract closeout, and other procurement activities.
In addition to the above description, the qualified candidate is expected to support the following essential functions as a G2 Ops Subcontract Administrator:
Review, negotiate, and execute NDA's and Teaming Agreements
Create simple to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with customer and company requirements
Conduct price and cost analysis
Evaluate vendor/supplier proposal responses
Review and negotiate pricing and general terms/conditions with subcontractors and consultants
Administer subcontracts of various types (T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus/Cost Reimbursable type subcontracts)
Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS
Identify and resolve issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to the program manager, contract manager, and Director of Contracts and Procurement (as applicable)
Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance
Maintain subcontract files to be compliant with CPSR rules
Enter all subcontract files in the company contract management system
Regularly interacts and initiates discussion/meetings with program managers, contracts, finance, accounting, business development, and customers as required.
What does this mean to you? To be successful in the role, our desired candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in A ccounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar, plus5+years of clearly demonstratedgovernment contract administrationexperience. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years of applicable subcontract work experience (this must be apparent on your resume).
In addition, you must be self-directed, flexible and have a willingness to do 'what needs to be done' in a small business environment and having the following desired skills is an added plus:
Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented and highly organized
Strong oral and written communication skills
Business, logistics, and accounting knowledge
Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams) SharePoint, and Outlook.

We are also seeking someone who has a desire for growth within our Subcontracts team and wants to learn how to develop a leadership mindset.
