Description:
Assist the Store Manager in leading all store sales activities, in achieving sales and profit objectives and in developing the store team.
Assist management in ordering and inventory item management, managing store operations, sales reporting and reporting on various programs and initiatives within the stores.
Duties :
Store Management
Perform all duties of Sales Associates
Perform the duties of the Store Manager in their absence
Assist the Store Manager in leading all sales activities to achieve objectives of the store's business plan
Assist the Store Manager in merchandising to approved plan-o-grams, shelf price labeling, implement product changeovers
Assist the Store Manager in managing inventory
Assist the Store Manager in managing deliveries
Prepare store for daily opening and closing; stock inventory; perform general housekeeping duties
Operations Management
Assist in managing item inventories across multiple stores
Prepare consolidated reports for management on store sales activities and performance
Prepare consolidated reports on store operations
Qualifications :
Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent and at least one year of retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage difficult retail situations in a controlled and courteous manner.
Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events. This includes the ability to work at multiple store locations, as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
