Description:

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading all store sales activities, in achieving sales and profit objectives and in developing the store team.

  • Assist management in ordering and inventory item management, managing store operations, sales reporting and reporting on various programs and initiatives within the stores.

    Duties :

    Store Management

  • Perform all duties of Sales Associates

  • Perform the duties of the Store Manager in their absence

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading all sales activities to achieve objectives of the store's business plan

  • Assist the Store Manager in merchandising to approved plan-o-grams, shelf price labeling, implement product changeovers

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing inventory

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing deliveries

  • Prepare store for daily opening and closing; stock inventory; perform general housekeeping duties

    Operations Management

  • Assist in managing item inventories across multiple stores

  • Prepare consolidated reports for management on store sales activities and performance

  • Prepare consolidated reports on store operations

    Qualifications :

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent and at least one year of retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage difficult retail situations in a controlled and courteous manner.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events. This includes the ability to work at multiple store locations, as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
