Full Time- Salaried
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for leading their team of Area Managers and hourly team to provide exceptional inventory service to our Customers. The DM should lead their team with a commitment to outstanding people leadership; ensuring a strong, committed and focused team. This role builds highly productive teams and creates a people-centric work environment that results in high retention at all levels. The DM is responsible in driving exceptional financial success through proper budgeting, planning, scheduling, expense control and P&L management. The DM leads with passion, integrity, and a drive to succeed, while facing challenges with a solution oriented can-do attitude. The DM will work with their leader, district partners and field support partners to grow talent within their district and increase their business footprint.
Essential Responsibilities:
Builds high performing teams by effectively calibrating Area Managers, Inventory Supervisor, and Inventory Associate talent; ensures the ongoing development of Inventory Associates
Delivers on exceptional Operational Excellence, people leadership, and Financial controls
Exhibits and expects proper safety, compliance, and ethical conduct of Area Managers, Inventory Supervisors and Inventory Associates
Drives exceptional financial results through engaged planning, event execution, expense control, overtime management, and P&L management and review.
Seeks new business opportunities and drives profit growth through increased customer engagement and satisfaction
Builds and maintains event and people scheduling, consistent with the needs of the District
Manages multiple priorities and ensures completion of all commitments in a timely and productive manner.
Ensures all employees in the District uphold professionalism and customer service standards through ongoing development, coaching and accountability.
Maintains strong relationships with all Customers serviced by the district and ensures any concerns are addressed immediately.
Retains high performing teams by creating a culture of inclusion, fairness, and engagement with all members of the team
Grows bench strength for Area Managers, Inventory Supervisors, and Inventory Associates through leadership, coaching and mentorship
Ensures the District is properly staffed and trained at all levels, at all times for the work ahead
Partners with support teams to ensure proper candidate flow, hiring efforts, development, onboarding, training, and the daily maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (currently Taleo)
Leads by example and demonstrates the core values of Spirit, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork at all times; expects and holds Area Managers, Inventory Supervisors, and Inventory Associates accountable for demonstrating core values at all times
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent travel via automobile and air and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing retail multi-store/zone operations
Demonstrated history of building and leading high performing teams in a fast pace environment
Strong people and team leadership skills with a proven track record of recruiting, hiring, training and developing talent for future bench strength
Effective customer relations skills meant to deliver exceptional service and the ability to act quickly to solve concerns or challenges as they arise.
Proven track record of strong business acumen, fiscal responsibility and P&L management
Ability to work varied, non-traditional hours, including early mornings, days, evenings, as well as flexible schedules.
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment drug screening and/or MVR check
A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meeting the Fleet driver requirements may be required depending on the District or Region needs
