We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal optometry candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the senior population.
Optometrist Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams.
Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
Optometrist Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We reward our optometrists with competitive rates (commensurate with experience) as well as the following:
22-25 patients per visit, preventative care.
Extremely flexible scheduling.
Average day: 5-6 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
