The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a LP Warehouse Coordinator to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. In this position you will manage the daily activities of all warehouse transactions, projects, and processes. HOURS:
. 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday, some overtime on weekends
You will make impact by doing the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage paint line and busway material orders.
Oversee stock levels of breakers on the Lighting Panel production lines.
Organize flow of incoming/outgoing materials for non-pick parts from the warehouse.
Ensure material is put away/pulled to and from correct warehouse locations.
Assist with stock levels for vertical lift machines (VLMs).
Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. Manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks)
Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team/area
Report any shortage or problem to Supervisor and/or Materials Planning Team to prevent a stop in production
Perform other work as directed by Supervision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2 years in manufacturing environment/experience
Knowledge of sit down and stand-up industrial trucks (training will be provided for candidates who do not have lift training)
Knowledge of all operations of storage/fabrication/assembly locations
Strong computer skills - SAP, Excel, and Word
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
