Cyber System Security Engineer

THE WORK

In this important role, the Hardware Engineer Staff is responsible for:

- Developing designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters

- Planning, directing, reviewing, and coordinating the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met

- Preparing specifications, evaluating vendors, and analyzing test reports

Basic Qualifications:

The candidate shall possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 10 years of applicable experience.

The candidate shall possess the following capabilities:

- Prepare functional requirements and specification for hardware acquisitions

- Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components that satisfies user's requirements

- Develop hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration, and test timelines

- Conduct site surveys, assessing and documenting current site network configuration and site-unique requirements

Desired Skills:

Experience with:

- Cabling equipment racks in a neat and professional manner

- Coaxial and CAT6 cable termination

Willingness to travel

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
