SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and tactical IT Project Coordinator to coordinate IT projects for the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC). This position serves as the lead for the assigned project responsible for the development and maintenance of programmatic data ranging from project plans, artifacts, waypoints, timelines, implementation planning, etc. The ideal candidate possesses superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operates independently with limited supervision and feedback, and can establish solid working relationships with technical staff and peers within the client's organization, as well as other external client customers.

This position is in Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides subject matter expertise in the fulfillment of IT system strategic planning, design, transition, operations, and continual improvement of IT services.

  • Ensure all necessary programmatic and technical artifacts required to deliver the project effectively and successfully are created, maintained and are accurate.

  • Ensure tasks are completed within the deadlines and tasking guidance from the Sponsor is clear and unambiguous.

  • Prepares necessary IT authorization documents, plans, and certifications for the operations, maintenance, and development of IT systems, to include preparing official documentation and requests for approval (i.e., Authorization to Proceed (ATP), System of Record Notice (SORN), Authorization to Operate (ATO)).Ensure project reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines.

  • Coordinate across the client's organization to ensure information sharing and interpret IT language for a wide audience.

  • Facilitate and participate in meetings and information sessions; coordinate project schedules; create/distribute minutes and action items; trace action items for successful completion.

  • Coordinates with networks host, authorization officials, and IT stakeholders, regarding the management and upkeep of the ATOs and Risk Management Frameworks, and other vital artifacts.

  • Organizes and monitors multiple interconnected projects.

  • Liaise with primary and peripheral service providers, vendors, mission partners, and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Coordinates efforts with user community stakeholders to refine system requirements, mature technical specification, and prioritize customer-recommended features.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD and two (2) years or more experience.

  • 3-5 years' experience within an IC Agency

  • 5 years of IT experience on large-scale programs with hands-on experience with project management office processes and procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to compose and edit written materials independently

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and effective communications using tact, patience, and courtesy

  • Proficiency in standard office software

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with data conditioning

  • Previous experience supporting the ODNI
