Job Summary
The Region Manager Sales Support Assistant supports the Senior Level Leadership to ensure their ability to perform their organizational responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Along with driving the sales team forward, he/she manages Senior Leadership schedules to utilize their time in the most efficient manner. In conjunction with Region Manager support, they will assist with high level sales concerns by networking across departments to find resolutions. They will build sales campaign collateral and project plans to ensure alignment with leadership needs. This position gathers information, runs analysis, and prepares and presents complex reports and presentations. This position oversees site event planning and organization and communicates site wide and department events. This position provides various ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors and managers while providing assistance to site leadership.
Responsibilities:
Develops account sales strategies incorporating core UPS solutions for outbound and inbound sales calls.
Utilizes account management and business development skills to cultivate multi-level customer relationships in order to uncover specific needs of key decision-makers.
Presents pricing agreements utilizing negotiation skills to competitively position UPS as a strategic partner.
Supports the growth of existing account base.
Performs pre-call customer research and sales strategy development.
Identifies customer business needs during sales calls.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Multi-tasking abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Availability to work flexible hours and overtime on occasion
Must be located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate to the area
Must be available to report to corporate office on a daily basis.
