CACI is currently looking for a ServiceNow Product Architect with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia!

As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.

What you'll get to do:

-As a technical lead for an agile team, you are responsible for all aspects of application architecture including user interface, APIs, microservices, databases and infrastructure.

-Maintain sound understanding of enterprise and program level architecture

-Liaison with business analysts to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise and program level architecture and standards

-Present and evangelize the solution to architecture guilds and management

-Work with business analysts and scrum master to create implementation/development plan for new features/applications/solutions by developing epics and stories

-Participate in Agile ceremonies by leading in all technical aspects, including leading the platform demos to the Product Owner and all applicable stakeholders

-Evangelize the developed solution to team members and work with team members to breakup stories into tasks and assist in completion of tasks in timely fashion

-Motivating developers, testers and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.

-Keep up to date with industry trends and ServiceNow capabilities

-Delegating tasks and ensuring all daily, sprint and release goals are achieved

-Performs Architecture design and reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state

-Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns

-Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases

-Develop product teams technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews.

-Review Cybersecurity Assessments and Static Code Analysis of developed software to define remediation's and improve software quality.

You have:

-Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to:

  • 3 year check for felony convictions

  • 1 year check for illegal drug use

  • 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud

-Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.

-5+ years experience related to the role.

-Professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups.

-Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in incremental software development projects such as the Agile Scrum approach

You are good at:

-Experience with ServiceNow in delivering custom applications.

-Experience in systems development, systems integration, application design and/or legacy

-Must have experience in Angular, JavaScript, and APIs.

-Experience in the agile management framework

-Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions

-Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills

-Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills

-Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery

- Familiarity with the following: Hibernate (or other ORM), Angular, Spring, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Eclipse, maven, jUnit, and shell scripting.

Bonus would be having:

-Contribute to development of program architecture and standards

-Familiarity with ServiceNow ATF to provide guidance to the team on test suites

-Multiple scoped applications designed, developed, and delivered

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
