Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time year-round Registered Dietitian 2 - Universities for Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. The Campus Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutrition education and promotion of nutritional programs through presentations, social media, and other outreach efforts with respect for the varying needs of the diverse population we serve. Occasional evenings and weekends are required based upon event demands and during critical times of the year. Offering Relocation Assistance!
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Manage student exemption requests, menus and recipes to align with our Everyday App, menu system, and digital signage;
Support activities in resident dining showcasing our mindful program and participate in student education events in collaboration with the University health and wellness department;
Support cooking classes and nutritional education, operational excellence, and maintain high visibility during peak periods in resident dining;
Provide guidance, meal recommendations and support to students who have dietary restrictions;
Promote nutritional awareness through newsletters, social media, sampling and events;
Collaborate with operations teams to develop wellness programs and menus for resident dining, athletics and retail locations; and/or
Deliver presentations as needed to support client goals.

are a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);
have experience working in a College or University setting, preferred;
have basic clinical skills and knowledge of MNT;
have strong presentation and public speaking skills; and/or
have a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
