Job Summary:
As a Talent Buyer Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to Casinos Division Director and Talent Buyers in the Casino Department, with a heavy emphasis on development into Talent Buyer.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the casino team to book entertainment and facilitate administrative duties including day-to-day related tasks such as pitches, market research, organizational tasks, deal point memos, avail submissions, drafting offers, reviewing contracts, etc.
Assist with creating and maintaining offers, confirmations, organizational tools, and other pertinent documents and using these tools to develop extensive knowledge of talent buyers' offers and shows
Use independent and proactive research to become knowledgeable about each venue's market, learning to distinguish what content would be appropriate at talent buyers' venues
Analyze data to develop lists of potential entertainers for casino shows
Participate and take notes on conference calls, updating and sharing information regarding the venues' entertainment strategy
Schedule and coordinate conference calls, meetings, and appointments
General administrative support including assisting with calls and messages
Forge and maintain relationships with agents, assistants, managers, celebrity bookers, entertainment directors, business partners, and casino executives
Work with marketing teams to ensure accuracy of each shows' on-sale process and ticketing details
Professional and timely response to agency requests for ticket counts
Interface with cross departmental teams, including marketing, contracts, legal, etc.
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in related industry
Positive attitude, eager and inquisitive nature, tenacious demeanor, and self-motivator
Interested and enthusiastic about music, both on a national level and as it relates to casino entertainment
Extensive knowledge of the music industry landscape
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and excel under pressure with high priority on meeting set deadlines
Superior organizational, administrative, and time management skills
Excellent and confident phone manner to handle significant client contact
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Personable and professional disposition
Solid computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Flexibility in work hours and availability, including evenings and weekends, especially during major projects events
Ability to travel
