Director Solutions Consulting

Full-time, Remote, Can be located anywhere in EuropeYou will report to Ambra D Christie

We are looking for a Director, Solutions Consulting to join our Hotel Solutions commercial team. As a member of the team responsible for BCD's comprehensive approach to hotel category management, Stay, you engage with clients throughout the customer life cycle to drive savings and increase hotel attachment. You lead Stay client activations, working with clients and program management to implement and optimize technologies and solutions that deliver value for all parties involved. You provide valuable education and recommendations to clients which enhance their corporate hotel programs. You effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders from various departments to continuously improve our suite of hotel solutions.

Excellent communication skills in German and English required.

    A snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with prospects and existing client key contacts. Act as a trusted advisor in all aspects of hotel category management.

  • Lead customer workshops focused on hotel category management topics including sourcing strategies, booking technologies and traveler engagement. Provide recommendations tailored to individual customer.

  • Ensure contractual commitments are met by all parties. Share progress to commitments with clients, program management and senior leadership. When needed, create action plans to address any forecasted commitment shortfalls.

  • Coordinate with resources from multiple departments on the development and delivery of hotel-related solutions including Product Planning, Marketing, Global Supplier Relations, Project management and technology support.

  • Coordinate with program management and project resources to ensure customer configurations are programmed to deliver successful outcomes to all parties.

  • Monitor and analyze performance data on a regular basis. Identify opportunities early and engage with program management, technology resources and/or spend management consultants to drive improvements.

    How you can set yourself apart:

  • Extensive experience business travel industry experience

  • Experience in program management, consultancy and/or sales

  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

  • Experience with travel industry technologies (i.e. OBT, payments, sourcing)

  • Proven understanding of data and insight

  • Self-starter with a consultative approach

  • Excellent commercial English and German language skills
