The Healthcare Administration Program Director is responsible for the administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Healthcare Administration Program. This includes supervision of faculty and students. The position is a full-time position. The individual reports to the Campus President and coordinates with School of Health Science management.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with Campus Directors to coordinate all aspects of the educational environment. - Work closely with faculty to ensure quality standards are being met to achieve desired outcomes. - Monitor the utilization of equipment, testing, and program enhancement tools to ensure implementation is achieved to assist students progressing through the program. - Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of faculty. - Coordinate the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of program curricula, textbooks, and course content in accordance with program standards, institutional needs and changing needs of employers. - Monitor retention activities to support campus initiatives. - Evaluate student reentries for policy compliance and student success opportunities. - Review end of course evaluations of faculty at the end of each term. - Work with Campus President to ensure schedules are efficient and accurate. - Provide an effective and efficient system for the delivery and evaluation of curriculum including new program development. - Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:- PhD in teaching discipline from a regionally accredited school preferred. Master of Science degree from a regionally accredited school required.- 3-5 years of significant and appropriate documented work experience within the past 10 years in related field.Skills/Abilities:- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.- Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.- Exercise discretion and good judgment at all times and in all contexts and maintain confidentiality.- Work effectively with all constituents of the University.- Ability to collect, organize, analyze and present complex information in a meaningful manner.
