We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Job Summary
This posting is for one role that will be filled at the level commensurate with the chosen candidate's applicable knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. This role is based at our main office in Richmond, VA and will be with our Electrification group. Job duties for this role include:
Responsible for supporting the development, implementation and administration of Customer Energy Solutions models and business activities across the Dominion Energy enterprise.
Provides general project management by assisting in vendor selection, managing vendor networks, and monitoring and advising on vendor contract performance and compliance.
Provides financial services support including profitability analysis, capital and O&M budget development, and cost tracking.
Performs research and analysis of technical feasibility, potential markets, competitive landscape, risk factors, business partners, and customers for new business opportunities, products and services.
Develops or supports strategic business cases and product plans to inform direction and approach for strategic initiatives.
Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on new business integration and implementation.
Maintains customer relationships and awareness of customer needs.
Develop and/or build upon existing relationships with all customer classes to identify opportunities for growth.
Performing other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following:
Associate Energy Solutions Specialist: 0-2 years of directly related experience
Energy Solutions Specialist: 3+ years of directly related experience
For both positions:
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously
Knowledge in performing profitability analysis, capital and O&M budget development, and cost tracking; actual experience in this to be considered for the intermediate level.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
Effective analytical and problem solving skills
Strong computer skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
Education Level:
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
Disciplines: Preferred: Accounting; Business Economics; Engineering; Finance; Liberal Arts
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
