Job Description:
Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
Education Qualifications:
This position is procedure based, wearing leads all day. Minimal desk work doing pre and post op follow up call to patients, most work is performed on your feet.
Shifts vary from 0700/0800 start time to 1530/1630 end time.
Although rare, will require on call obligation.
Qualifications:
One year of RN experience in a recovery room, OR, or Outpatient department.
Previous experience working with interventional pain procedures preferred.Previous experience in conscious sedation preferred.Previous experience with management of implantable spinal cord devices, including intrathecal drug delivery systems and/or spinal cord stimulators preferred.
Scheduling knowledge preferred
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Wisconsin license within 6 months of hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
ACLS and IV training within 3 months of date of hire.
