The primary goal of the position is to generate interest in the university while managing acquisition costs and ultimately allowing the university to provide superior customer service to potential students. The Digital Marketing Specialist is a strategic thinker and a skilled problem solver who responds to both issues and opportunities quickly and effectively. You would report to the University's Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and optimize paid campaigns to purchase media across display, video, social and mobile.
Create and deliver reporting, on an ongoing basis, that analyze key metrics in order to discover changes necessary to increase overall success of campaigns.
Collaborate with admissions and marketing team members to identify best practices.
Manage monthly budgets, pacing and forecasting.
Oversee accounts with external vendors.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitatively relevant or Marketing field.
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar Marketing role.
Hands-on digital media buying (YouTube, Facebook, or Display).
Use of a DSP.
Having worked at an agency or comparable B2C organization.
Skills/Abilities:
Strategic marketing and analytics background and a track record of translating insights into executable plans.
Computer skills, including proficiency in Excel as well as the ability to quickly grasp internal information systems.
Knowledge of Access and SQL Databases are a plus.
Strong problem solving, math, and logic skills.
Organization and time management skills.
