As part of our ASPIRE training and development program, the District Manager in Training will participate in a 6-month training program that combines a series of rotations in various functions and sessions with the purpose of maximizing strengths, ambitions, and aspirations of trainees.

Location: Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas

The District Manager in training program will last 6-9 months. Successful completion will result in assigned District placement upon position availability. District Managers are responsible for the overall school operations of a defined district within the Childcare Network areas. District Managers will select, train and encourage School Directors to comply with all safety regulations, licensing requirements, company policies, and reporting procedures in accordance with corporate directives.

Minimum of five(5) years as a School Director; two (2) years management experience in a multi-school or multi-site environment, preferred

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Business preferred

Skills:

- Solid experience in managing profit and loss statements

- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements

- Must be a team player and leader

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills

- Ability to solve complex issues and conflicts

- Demonstrates compassion and is respectful toward all constituencies

- Ability to interact and work with diverse cultures

- Assumes responsibility of district and makes sound decisions

- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Google Sheets

- Ability to travel within the district every week

- Requires a valid driver's license and maintains a good driving record

  • Visits each school within the district at least every two weeks

  • Completes quarterly reviews using the company financial and safety checklists along with the applicable state licensing and sanitation checklists to assure school compliance with all related requirements

  • Evaluates school adherence to the company safety manual with particular emphasis on equipment and vehicle maintenance, building security, teacher supervision and driver qualifications

  • Reviews school detailed revenue and expense reporting to assure accuracy and discuss budgetary status, outlining areas of potential improvement and recognizing exceptional performance with each visit

  • Monitors accounts receivable to insure validity and collectability of all outstanding accounts

  • Continuously evaluates each school's overall program quality to ensure company curriculum and "best practices" are properly implemented in the classroom

  • Provides School Directors with continuous feedback regarding performance

  • Completes documented performance evaluations on an annual basis and develops a professional development plan, as needed

  • Develops strong community relationships with other early childhood organizations to enhance the company image and create potential opportunities for collaboration

  • Reviews and confirms that Commitment to Excellence reports are properly prepared by School Directors

  • Assists the School Directors with budget preparation and submit to corporate office for approval

  • Suggests improvements and policy modifications that will enhance our corporate environment

  • Interviews staff periodically to maintain personal contact, provide on-the-job training, assure proper credentialing and develop select personnel for promotion
