Description
SAIC is seeking a Cloud Computer Engineer Director for a future NAVAIR program.
This program will support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in development of a modernized Engineering Network (eNET) prototype to support research, development, and engineering activities. The prototype will apply commercial cloud services and emerging technologies to demonstrate interoperability of systems among mixed classification levels, multi-layer security architecture and digital workspaces for end users in a virtual desktop environment.
Job Description:
Leveraging domain expertise develops comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and leads the development of a complete solution meeting all requirements resulting in a price competitive proposal.
Collaborates with business development, capture, proposal, and other team members to optimize our proposed solutions.
Identifies technical staff needs to support Pre-BP and BP activities.
Coordinates assignments of technical personnel to proposal efforts.
Coordinates with team member technical leadership and technical contributors on solution development, proposal writing, and estimating. Writes and reviews proposals.
Oversees the development of basis of estimates (BOE) or basis of material (BOM).
Provides subject matter expertise to meet customer technical, schedule and cost requirements within applicable risk parameters.
Meets with customers on SAIC's capabilities, services and solutions for business development and capture efforts. Provides solution-related technical support after award as needed.
May support market segmentation, long-term positioning, and opportunity assessment from a solution strategy perspective.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen (15) years or more experience.
Active Secret clearance is required
