We are seeking a System Administrator to support mission critical application and web service development in support of an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution known as MFAMs. The work also encompasses the Endpoint Services team to support systems implementing JBlocks capabilities associated with ZeroTrust. The selected candidate will serve in a SA backup role to keep the system operational and perform trouble shooting as needed.
Responsibilities:
Possess an in-depth understanding of Red Hat Linux 8 and above.
Some familiarity with AWS/eVo
Some familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Perform system startup & shutdown.
Ability to write/test/run scripts written in Bash, Python, Perl.
Perform vulnerability scans.
Conduct patch management.
Create/update wide range of documentation and diagrams: System Security Plans, Security CONOPS, FAQ's, How To's.
Maintain current documentation.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Excellent time management skills in order to multi-task and prioritize.
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment.

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
