Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Richmond, VA . This is a second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain support and manufacturing equipment and machinery
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance accurately and in a timely manner
Analyze test results, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and recommend equipment repairs
Perform lockout/tagout procedures as needed to secure equipment according to guidelines
Help to ensure equipment, fire and electrical safety procedures are being adhered to during walk through of plant
Supports GFSI and FSMA. Assists in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and that we follow all aspects of HACCP plan, SSOPs, and GMPs throughout the plan
Reports all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor
Supports an accident-free work culture. When developing, or modifying production processes, assists in accident prevention and risk identification
Collaborates with HR/Safety Manager to minimize risk exposure from ingredient, equipment, or ergonomics
Requirements
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
Must be able to pass drug screen
Must be able to pass background
Minimum of 6 to 10 years of solid industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility; preferably within an agriculture or food production plant
Extensive knowledge of electrical and machine control troubleshooting skills
