The Retail IT Manager will work with the Planning, Merchandising, Allocations, IT departments and other areas of the business to plan, execute, implement and enhance retail systems. This individual will handle tier II retail support issues escalated by the helpdesk. They will work with other department managers to ensure all retail corporate employees receive system and process training. _ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-_ * * Working with cross-functional departments to support business to plan, execute, implement, and enhance retail systems. * Act as a technical liaison between the retail division and applications/systems analysts, company engineers and department management. * Coordinates the processing of testing procedures for new and modified applications and software systems. * Recommends and coordinates implementation of changes in processing procedures. * Creating and maintaining tools, reports in Excel or BI (MicroStrategy). * Lead and provide direction to Retail Systems Trainer and Retail Project Coordinator. * Coordinate Apropos Store creation and POS configuration documents for new stores. * Provide tier II retail support issues escalated by the helpdesk. * Review daily systems logs and resolve issues. * *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES-* * / /Yes *JOB REQUIREMENTS* * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a non-technical fashion. * Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. * Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, providing innovative solutions with accessible technology. * Ability to identify issues, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems, and manage issues to escalation effectively. * Strong integration skills, with the ability to coordinate all aspects of project * Ability to handle multiple tasks with ease, set appropriate priorities, and manage timelines effectively while paying strict attention to detail. _EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_ * / /Education - Degree Preferred (IT related discipline) * Minimum 4 years related Retail Systems experience * Experience working with Planning, Merchandising, Allocations and Warehouse Management and Retail POS Systems. * Minimum 2 years Experience as a project manager in a retail organization. * Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook * Advanced knowledge in BI and Retail systems * Minimum 2 years' experience developing custom query based reports (e.g. Micro-strategy, MS Access, Impromptu, etc. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
