Title: Corporate Loss Prevention/Safety Manager (Fraud Analytics and Systems) Location: United States-Virginia-Virginia Beach Job Number: 220001U4 This position is: Telework/Office hybrid eligible. Job Summary: Develops and manages corporate loss prevention/safety, systems including; Omni-channel/e-commerce fraud Solutions, investigations, case management, and POS Exception Reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Omni-channel - Provides collaborative support and oversight for the Omni-Channel/e-Commerce, systems and LPS investigations, for field, and corporate staff. - Generate reports and make recommendations to reduce e-commerce fraud and losses. Report key findings to senior management and other departments as necessary. - Manages the systems and investigations team in monitoring the rules engine and fraud strategies to optimize fraud prevention operations. Oversees and manages contract for 3rd party fraud solutions case management system. - Directs and conducts on-site audits of the e-commerce fulfillment center. Case Management - Develops and manages case management program for all loss prevention/safety incident activity to include internal/external theft, workers' compensation and property/casualty claims within the NEXCOM Enterprise, and serves as liaison / SME for memorandum of agreements with Military Exchange Sister Services (Marine Corps, Army Air Force Exchange Service, CNIC, and Coast Guard). - Utilize data to create statistical reports and metrics for the measurement of various loss prevention/safety programs. Exception Reporting - Manages and analyzes POS Exception reporting program. Utilize data results to create logical assumptions, case opportunities and potential investigations. - Works with Operations (Code N) to create specialized reports for corporate/ field operations. Monitors use of program to ensure compliance throughout the NEXCOM Enterprise. - Manages Code S support of E-Commerce and its integration with POS Exception Reporting System. - Serves as corporate point of contact for all database investigations and systems issues. Investigations - Collaboratively provides investigative support to headquarters and field in regards to criminal cases not accepted by an investigative agency or cases referred back to the activity due to inconclusive findings. Provides investigative support for high profile incidents, which may involve considerable sensitivity. - Supports field LP/S in investigations via all resources and systems available. Dashboards, Code S Hub, and Policy/Procedures - Partners with Learning & Organizational Development team to develop and administer learning programs related to Loss Prevention/Safety to ensure all requirements are met - Assists in the development and management of metrics for the Loss Prevention/Safety dashboard. - Works to ensure appropriate changes/updates to LPS Manual and Instructions are completed. ORPOS - Manages transition of legacy systems to Oracle XSTORE to ensure system integration with Exception Base and Case Management Systems. - Manages MS Teams or WEBEX Training program for the enterprise. Develops and delivers specific training for POS Exception Reporting System, case management system, investigations, and coordinates training for other departments across the Enterprise. - Manages the Over/Short program providing reports/results to field. - Act as SME/Liaison to other departments in the enterprise, including cooperative efforts with sister Military Exchange Services (CNIC, MWR, AAFES, MCCS, CGES, and DECA). - Works with Code F and AAFES to identify and investigate potential cases within the MIL STAR card program. - Coordinates bi-monthly briefs for the CEO- including SDC (COO, COS, F, N, H, OC, and OIA). - Assists in supporting the Total Loss Executive Committee. - Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance. Performs other related duties as assigned. The incumbent of this position must file a Financial Disclosure Report (OGE) Form 450, as required. Qualifications: A total of 8 years consisting of the following: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience gained at the management level in the administrative, investigative or loss prevention fields, which enabled the applicant to gain skills in dealing with others in person to person work relationships, the ability to exercise and apply mature judgment in assessing practical implications of alternative solutions and resolving the problems presented; the ability build and maintain strong cross functional relationships between many departments in order to meet the mission of the enterprise; and the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing. OR SUBSTITUION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for nine months of experience, up to a maximum of a four year bachelor's degree for three years of general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressive experience which includes: - 2 years' experience using exploratory data analysis experience using database analytics, SQL, OR similar programming languages to retrieve, merge, and harvest data from multiple sources or platforms. - 1 year experience developing and testing website applications. - 2 years of progressively responsible experience in retail loss prevention which provided analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work in security/investigations, internal review and control techniques, reducing and controlling inventory shrink.
