Summary
The People Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting MOD's success by providing people (HR) insights and storytelling from data acquired and analyzed from various functions including, but not limited to People Operations, People Business Partners, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Finance and Social Impact. This is a great opportunity to design, evolve and elevate MOD's People analytical tools and capabilities. You will support the overall People Team strategy and analytics initiatives and report to the Vice President, Learning, Talent & Squad Experience.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the key People problems or insights needed to accelerate MOD's business performance, through close consultation with People Team functions
Design and manage employee surveys, including but limited to engagement, onboarding, and exit surveys
Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws
Design, develop, maintain, deliver, and support a variety of reports & dashboards which clearly and concisely show key workforce trends and opportunity areas across MOD
Use the reports & dashboards to tell stories and drive action across MOD, encouraging self-service and automation where possible
Perform health checks and audits on current reports as well as any new reports built for the business
Ensure reporting library is up-to-date and usable, and that team members know what reports are available on-demand and how to use them
Partner across Finance, Executive Leadership, Legal, Operations Excellence, Field Operations, etc. to ensure they can access the people data they need
Partner with Business Intelligence team for automated reporting to integrate into Tableau databases and dashboards
Own Engagement and Life Cycle Survey analytics and insights
Complete other projects as assigned, or as needs are recognized
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in business/HR analysis, analytics, finance, statistics or related fields
2+ years working with HR data & metrics, preferred experience with SuccessFactors and Qualtrics
Proficient in data Microsoft Suite, Pivot Table creation and statistical visualization software, preferred experience with Tableau
Ability to maintain strict discretion and confidentiality due to the sensitive data involved Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, creativity, proven work ethic and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics, Statistics, Analytics or other quantitative discipline
Strong problem-solving skills (critical, strategic, and evaluative thinking)
Excellent data analysis skills
Federal and state regulated reporting requirements, including but limited to EEO-1, CA Pay, etc.
Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Strong data storytelling and communication skills - written, verbal, and visual
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
