Job Description:
This position is responsible for the volunteer program administration and development in all service areas, program planning, and supervision of all volunteer activities, which includes the selection, orientation, training, supervision and coordination of all volunteers within assigned areas. The position is also responsible for representing the Volunteer Program in various community education and training programs, as well as involvement in committees within the community.
Education Qualifications:
The Volunteer Supervisor leads the Brainerd area Volunteer Program and St. Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary. This position includes all aspects of operating a successful volunteer program: recruitment, onboarding, training, appreciation, and retention. The Volunteer Supervisor supports the St. Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary in raising funds through the gift shop and additional fundraising, and grants funds to support the work of the hospital.
Work Experience: 2 years' experience in a health care setting, hospice and/or volunteer coordination experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing volunteers
Prior experience in community outreach, marketing, education, or healthcare are assets in this role.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Applicants with a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) are welcome

Pay Range
$40248 - $60362 / year
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
