Start your new and rewarding career with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Team as an Aircraft Maintenance Quality Delivery and Sustainment Specialist on our F-35 Program! This position is part of the Quality Management team supporting F-35 aircraft Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) maintenance operations at Leeuwarden Air Base, Netherlands.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide Quality oversight of Lockheed Martin CLS Team through scheduled and unscheduled surveillance activities to ensure qualifications, process and procedures meet DCMA 8210 and AS9110 requirements
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis and developing Corrective Action Plans for non-conformities. Provides recommendations through the Corrective Action Request Review Board (CARRB) to Site Leadership.
- Manage the investigative process for any quality related nonconformity, incident, accident, mishap or infraction, ensure good housekeeping and safety practices are followed.
- Facilitate the Enterprise Sustainment Quality (ESQ) iCAR process, to include the CARRB.
- Manage the Preventative Corrective Action Management System (PCAMS) administration process.
- Assist with managing and monitoring the CLS Environmental Health and Safety (ESH) program manager
- Manage and monitor the CLS Foreign Object Debris (FOD) program.
- Prepares and submits Quality metrics and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for Continuous Process Improvement for both processes/procedures and the Quality Management System
- Facilitate the initiation, completion and submission of aircraft, support equipment, and equipment/tooling damage Incident Reports.
- Manage the site local Command Media requirements to ensure document control, currency, availability and access.
- Support of the customer's operational requirements, including possible short term deployments on board country ship(s.)
- Engages and addresses Quality Manage System issues.
- Engages and addresses third party vendor liaison on Quality concerns
- Assist Maintenance Managers in tracking currencies and expirations of employee ESH training courses and occupational health examinations IAW Italian law.
- Assist Maintenance Managers in scheduling recurring training courses and exams with local Safety consultancy firm and LM-assigned occupational health doctor's office staff, respectively.
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
- Must be willing to deploy to various locations (within and outside the country.)
- Must be willing to work any shift, weekends and holidays as required.
- Initiate and manage the Action Request (AR) process.
- Implement Quality Assurance Plans, policies and audit schedules with Maintenance personnel.
- Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and must be able to obtain a Final Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- Minimum 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience (within past 10 years).
- Must have been previously been awarded a USN/USMC CDI/CDQAR, Air Force 7 Level qualification or equivalent.
- Must possess 3 years of experience in a Quality role in a military aircraft maintenance environment.
- Experience with the following: Safety programs and associated data bases, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE)/Ground Support Equipment (GSE); Maintenance Information Systems; Tool & FOD industry standards and Calibration management and procedures.

- Undergraduate degree in relevant studies from an accredited university
- Ability to speak/read Dutch language
- International Expat experience
- Experience interfacing with NATO customers
- Experience with F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
- Experience with composing and submitting F-35 Action Requests
- Experience in conducting audits utilizing AS9110 Aerospace Standard and DCMAI 8210
requirements.
- At least 2 years on a 5th Generation platforms.
- Experience in the CAR/iCAR process
- Green Belt certification or other Continuous Process Improvement experiences
- Experience in developing and implementing Tool Control and FOD policies.
- Experienced with Quality plans and policy development
- Familiar with AS9100 Aerospace Standard internal audit processes
- Familiar with DCMA Instruction 8210.1C in association with aircraft ground operations and related aircraft maintenance programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision
- Proven ability to interface with leadership, quality team, technical experts, and subject matter experts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
