Our client No Meat is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Management System supporting the Quality Manager and internal teams to ensure that food safety and quality targets are met. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards in food production.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Stanwood, WA
Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
What's the Job?
Monitor quality targets, food safety protocols, production, warehousing, maintenance processes and GMPs to ensure compliance to established standards and requirements, and report non-compliances to the Quality Manager
Responsible for in-process quality control activities and review of inspection records
Inspect, evaluate and release incoming raw materials in the company's ERP system
Perform daily start-up tasks such as scale verification, issuance of production paperwork, sanitation verification, label control
Ensure sampling protocols are adhered to and administrate internal and external material and product testing
What's Needed?
Associate's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
1-2 years of experience in a food production environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control processes
Ability to work in varying conditions and temperatures in a production area and office setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
