SUMMARY: The purpose of the CDM Clerk is to maintain and preserve the system data integrity of customer master and related files and screens, price lists and formulas and related screens, customer offers (promotions) and RMA credit paperwork. The CDM Clerk is responsible for quick turnaround of division and corporate requests to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information to our -internal customers-.

They are also responsible for the entry of credits to the customers, the management of inventory from those credits, and reporting any discrepancies.

The CDM Clerk must project a positive image to DPI vendors and customers (internal and external) to assist in the management of the DPI CDM system in a manner that adheres to DPI policies, procedures and expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain data integrity for customer related screens for DPI customers including but not limited to pricing, promotions, master data files and billing

  • Credit / One Step invoice entry

  • Creation of reports for distribution to required personnel

  • Demonstrate effective professional interaction with Directors, Account Executives and Sales Associates to resolve missing data issues so that customer setups, pricelists, credits and promotions can be processed in a timely fashion

  • Use data for the creation of system reports and distribution to appropriate personnel

  • A complete understanding of the DPI Oracle System as it relates to the job duties

  • Other duties may be assigned to fulfill company objectives and/or job duties and requirements may be changed as needed to meet current and future business needs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The employee must have proficient knowledge of English and basic math skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate-s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have two years- experience in a distribution, logistics, or data management environment as well as a working knowledge of the Customer/Vendor/Broker community. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs is required. Oracle experience is preferred; if none, must become proficient within six months on the job.

Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways and break rooms.

Work Hours: The work schedule is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. Time of initial start may vary with work hours typically 8am-5pm. The employee may be required to work overtime and holidays or weekends.

Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and negligible pounds of force frequently to move objects. Know and follow proper office and safety protocols. Understand, retain and apply CDM processing knowledge to participate in corporate finance initiatives and service delivery. Excellent ability to manage time, multi task daily, weekly, bi-weekly activities and concurrent special projects to meet CDM and management deadlines is required.
