Our client, an automotive parts supplier, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be part of the Sales Department supporting the Regional Sales Organization. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership abilities, and strategic thinking skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000
What's the Job?
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director and global sales team to establish objectives within the Customer Development Plan (CDP).
Develop and implement account strategies that align with company goals and lead technical sales activities in the US automotive market.
Negotiate with key customers to resolve commercial issues and foster collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
Build and maintain productive relationships with key personnel across all levels of the organization within assigned customer accounts.
Conduct market research, analyze trends, and monitor sales performance metrics to identify new opportunities and implement corrective actions.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a technical sales manager or assistant manager position, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier to OEMs (GM, Ford, Stellantis).
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business (MBA is a plus).
Experience interacting with large global international companies and working with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, operations).
Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with knowledge of commercial issue management.
