Job Description

Market Pricing & Data Analyst Wanted....This position in our Regulatory group can be located in Cleveland, Akron, or Columbus, OH. This role ensures the timely filing of rate applications and compliance documents. Oversees, develops, and prepares technical analysis. Evaluates the need for regulatory filings independently. Ensures implementation of approved rates and determination of appropriate accounting. Oversees, develops, and prepares regulatory filings and tariffs, work papers, documentation, analyses, discovery responses, and testimony. Oversees, develops, and prepares pricing studies, by coordinating competitive analysis, cost allocation studies, and other technical analysis. Monitors and analyzes regulatory changes. Works with the business to ensures compliance with regulatory commission directives. Provides research, or gathers supporting information, that may be presented to regulators, internal counsel, external counsel, and outside consultants. Oversees, develops, and prepares studies, for expert written testimony, oral testimony, and negotiations. Prepares pricing and load forecast assumptions for financial forecasts. May lead in the pricing of products, services, and cost recovery mechanisms. May testify as an expert witness. May reconcile financial modeling data to the company's regulatory accounting books. May assist with analyses of regulatory earnings and revenue requirements of current and future periods, which may support rate adjustment clauses. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to carry out all aspects of the job and able to handle the most complex work and all aspects of the job using wide knowledge of the field and subject matter. May provide input in setting objectives and policy, identifying critical issues and introducing new concepts. Makes decisions independently in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments. Provide assistance, advice and solutions to co-workers. Identifies and implements better work alternatives and business processes. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceRequired:For Level II - 3-5 years directly related experience.For Level III - 5+ years of directly related experience.Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in analytical work, accounting, rate making or other related experience.Demonstrated knowledge of advanced financial, accounting and/or tax concepts, and regulatory issues.Outstanding analytical, computer, problem assessment, and problem-solving skills.Effective oral communication, written communication, presentation, coaching, and teaching skills.Willingness to learn and seek information independently.Strong Excel skills.Ability to evaluate and recommend courses of action, in response to inquiries.The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.Education RequirementsDegree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: BachelorPreferred Discipline(s):AccountingEconomicsFinanceOther disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
