Provide a welcoming atmosphere and hospitality to each person entering the Medical Center. This position will greet each individual in a manner that is professional, warm and accepting, anticipating visitor needs by offering and implementing assistance. Responsibilities include answering questions, providing directions and when appropriate escorting, or securing an escort, for the visitor to a specific destination. Responds to external and internal telephone calls, provides patient information, sorts patient mail for delivery and secures wheelchairs. Interfaces with volunteers who assist with hospitality and escorting. Provide information on location of departments. Provides information on basic community resources, including lodging, bus service and taxi service. Provide visitor badges for those allowed to visit per Essentia's current visitation regulations. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in an Information/Hospitality Desk or customer service environment.
