The Assisted Living Director Specialist is a Home Office deployed, highly -mobile- leader capable of leading care services at a community with an open ALD position, or in support of an in-place ALD. While onsite, the Assisted Living Director Specialist will be responsible for the coordination, direction and operations of an Assisted Living Program.
What will I do every day?
Integrate effectively into a community CMT structure to stabilize Care Services and support Kisco systems and programs that deliver best in class care to residents
Coordinate activities with Executive Director in alignment with input from East/West Regional Director of Nursing
Monitor residents' well being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the
appropriate associate/department immediately while maintaining regulatory compliance
Look for opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
Complete resident assessments timely and accurately to reflect the biological and
psychosocial needs of each resident and to determine the appropriate level of care in
compliance with state regulations and Kisco policy
Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements imposed by outside agencies such as OSHA, EEOC, DFS and DSS
Communicate the company vision and strategy to create alignment between daily activities and company strategy
Fluidly manage operations based on occupancy and economic conditions while ensuring
staffing meets resident needs, state regulations, and Kisco policy
Drive process and continuous improvement
Manage department schedule as needed based on community needs and staffing changes and requests
Work effectively with the community team to support the sales process
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Three to five years of supervisory experience
BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
Experience in working with seniors
Resident Care Director experience / Director of Nursing experience
Special Requirements/Certifications:
Licensed as RN, LVN/LPN
CPR Certified
First Aid Certified
Universal Precautions trained
Title 22 knowledge
RCFE a plus
