Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Corporate HR Manager to join our TEAM! As the Corporate HR Manager, we need someone who will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the business. They will align business objectives with employees to deliver company goals. The Corporate HR Manager will effectively counsel internal customers on HR issues, develop HR programs and policies, collaborate with recruiting for hiring talent, and provide org structure guidance and other solutions to solve business needs.
Primary Objective
Plans, implements, and executes strategic HR initiatives and programs for Corporate functions, including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, affirmative action, safety, talent management, organizational design, compensation, immigration, and benefits.
Major Function and Scope
Counsels, coaches, and trains the business regarding recruiting, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, work environment issues, organizational change, and leadership.
Drives succession planning, selection, promotion, and placement of intra-organization or divisional personnel.
Works closely and establishes collaborative relationships with recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, safety, immigration, and other departments to solve business needs.
Partners with recruiting and the business to ensure qualified applicants are hired, provides affirmative action and AAP/EEO requirements are met, and influences hiring decisions with management.
Creates and implements programs, policies, and procedures regarding employment, staffing, and turnover.
Proactively carries out value-added projects that provide solutions for the business that are tied to organizational goals.
Supports employee engagement, community involvement, and recognition initiatives.
Consults with business regarding org design and workforce planning and executes changes as needed.
Conducts management development training regarding selection, performance management, employee relations, and labor relations.
Advises client groups on annual activities such as goal setting, performance reviews, merit cycle, and bonus payments.
Partners with the business to adjust and interpret the employee handbook, supplemental policies, or internal practices as needed.
Works alongside benefits to assist with leave of absence processes, including FMLA, STD/LTD, and ADA requests, and advises business on proper accommodations.
Ensures area of responsibility follows all applicable federal, state, and municipal regulations relating to fair employment practices, employee safety, and health.
Provides employee relations support, including conflict resolution, investigation completion, disciplinary actions, performance counseling, and termination assistance.
Proactively works with the business to create solutions related to retention, career growth, succession planning, recommending training initiatives, reporting structures, change management, and a positive working environment for all employees.
Performs other duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field
7 or more years of progressive HR business partnering experience
Professional HR Certification is preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR or SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
Must have experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
Working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Skilled in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and relationship management
Strong ability to interpret and counsel employees and management on policy, guidelines, and procedures

Demonstrates an ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
