JMT's Recruitment Team is looking to add a dynamic recruiter to the group. This team member will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment of both technical and non-technical positions for various departments within the organization. This role partners with hiring managers to provide support in the areas of identifying, attracting, and hiring talent. It's a fast paced position working with a high volume of open positions at many times, so the ideal candidate will be able to multi-task efficiently! Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Work with hiring managers to identify talent needs
Develop and post job requisitions and advertisements
Source and contact potential candidates by utilizing various recruitment methods including resume databases, social media, networking, colleges and trade schools, Internet job boards, employee referrals, career fairs etc., based upon unique position requirements
Develop and maintain candidate pipeline to meet future staffing needs
Screen applicant resumes based on minimum requirements of position
Conduct phone interviews and make recommendations on candidates for in-person interviews
Schedule in-person interviews with selected candidates and hiring managers
Check references of candidates that are being considered for positions
Manage the offer approval process
Draft and deliver the offer letter
Maintain requisition/candidate data in applicant tracking system and compile reports from database as requested
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to the recruitment and hiring process
Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment related HR projects and services
Required Skills
Ability to work at ease with varying personality types
Excellent at managing several ongoing tasks at once
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Out of the box thinking is a great asset in this role
Drive to learn about various roles within the organization
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
0-5 years of technical recruiting experience, recruitment experience in the engineering industry preferred
Experience working with web based applicant tracking system, experience with SilkRoad preferred
Knowledge in recruitment techniques utilizing, but not limited to, job boards, associations and social media
Must have experience and enjoy working on a team
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
