This position will support facilities and plant operations in the development and management of applicable regulatory agency requirements, mainly related to life safety and the environment of care for the assigned facilities. This position will coordinate, measure, monitor, analyze, evaluate, document and report on compliance with regulatory requirements. Works with NFPA, CMS, Joint Commission, and various state agencies. Collaborates with the Life Safety and Environment of Care leaders from other facilities of the Essentia Health System. Key Responsibilities: - Assists in the creation of life safety plans. Responsible for collection, recording and report of the performance indicators contained within management plans. - Responsible for leading and performing EOC rounds with internal team. - Responsible for ensuring regulator compliance with applicable state and federal agencies. Required Qualifications: - Three years' experience with regulatory survey processes - preferred Joint Commission - in areas of Life Safety and Environment of Care. - Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of the Life Safety Code, OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable standards and demonstrated track record of implementing programs to comply with regulations, codes, and standards.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 7 years' experience in facilities management.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) certification required within two years of hire or transfer.
