What does this role look like?

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Contracts Leader to join the Strategic and Missile Defense Programs (SMD) line of business supporting a diverse and exciting portfolio that continues to expand. The Missile Defense Programs (MDP) Contracts Manager will lead a team of geographically dispersed contracts management professionals supporting existing and future contracts with domestic customers.

Basic Qualifications:

- Ability to work with US Government customer interface with prime or sub-experience across large multi-million / billion-dollar programs

- Leadership of prime or subcontracts organizations with oversight of direct reporting employees

- Ability to work with FAR/DFAR and/or intelligence community policies

- You will need to be a US Citizen, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance, to support these government contracts, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills:

- 10+ years of contracts management, subcontract management, paralegal or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department

- Master's degree, Juris Doctor, Paralegal certification or NCMA certification

- Significant experience briefing senior executives

- You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently posses and be able to maintain a US SECRET clearance, to support these government contracts.

- Preference for this requisition will be given to Space employees.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
