Innovation and Leadership
Own the overall technical design and end-to-end solution design for assigned initiatives.
Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and digital strategy.
Leads large domain initiatives that are supported by E2E Design, E2E Arch applies digital standards to project Solution Architecture, drives Technical Strategy and architectural tradeoff discussions.
Leads the technical design process for applicable cross domain initiatives. (Capable of leading Sr. Architects on initiatives divided into multiple work streams.)
Balances constraints in IT, business, delivery to deliver efficient architecture for an initiative.
Leads design orchestration on large-sized initiatives or work streams.
Provides input into the definition of Digital Architecture standards as they are buil.
Technology and System
Owns technical solution on cross domain initiatives and end to end solution design strategy across teams.
Support the definition and adoption of common software development processes.
Prepares and maintains design work that include architecture diagrams, data models, and API / micro-service architecture.
Implements design process standards on assigned initiatives.
Writes sophisticated documentation, architecture, capabilities, limitations, and advantages for technologies.
Clearly describes architecture, design strategies, standards, technical specifications, business benefits, opportunities and threats. Routinely creates and presents executive and external materials, including white papers.
Actively gives to industry publications and professional forums.
Project Management
Applies a broad understanding of the products, systems and technologies across the business portfolio and deep technical ability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesive E2E solution architecture for a given initiative.
Translates business requirements into technical requirements that the system analysts and other technical team members drive into the project design and delivery.
Relationship and People Management
Interacts with Senior management to shape and align solutions against desired minimum viable product scope.
Participates in formal internal training programs.

Education Level
Bachelors Degree In lieu of Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
10 years of Extensive knowledge of architecture experience
7 years Dynamic experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong intuition for business and executive presence.
7 years Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions.
7 years Experience in Enterprise applications, PLM, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology.
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or GED
