Siemens is looking for an Entry Level Quality Engineer for the Grand Prairie Breaker Plant. This individual will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for products and processes. In addition, they will provide diverse and complex statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. Responsible to guide technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure division quality objectives are achieved. The Quality Engineer will work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of production in the form of kaizen events, production line stand-downs, and training. This position will have primary responsibility for ensuring ISO documentation requirements are met, including internal audits, as well as supporting resolution of quality related concerns related to internal and supplier nonconformance's .

You'll make an impact by:

  • Supporting production line with continuous improvement initiatives in process control, material cost reduction and capacity enhancement

  • Providing technical support analyzing and/or performing failure analysis and inspecting product for potential nonconformances

  • Tracking and recording non-conforming returns for root cause and disposition and also managing calibrated equipment and associated records

  • Updating our Quality Management System (QMS) with risks, incidents, actions, and improvements

  • Ensure QMS documentation requirements are effectively implemented

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering tolerances and first article processing

  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

  • Intermediate level utilization of Microsoft Office products

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance/Control

  • Calibration program experience.

  • SAP experience.

  • Six Sigma

  • The pay range for this position is $53,410 - $91,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
