What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
Conduct routine control activities such as audits of customer accounts and the work of other associates, analyze trends found within the data, and partner with business partners to determine root cause
Recognize and communicate items requiring follow-up or correction with Lead Representatives and appropriate levels of leadership
Utilize various systems and resources appropriately to determine the extent of the issue and to provide valid, credible suggestions to the business partner
Review escalated customer account issues requiring additional research
Perform the above functions timely and accurately in compliance with Federal, State, and Company guidelines.
Purpose of the role
Behind every successful theatrical production, there is an extensive behind-the-scenes operation that makes sure things go smoothly - even after the curtains close. At CarMax Auto Finance, the Controls team is part of that backstage crew. Sr. Representatives on the team can problem-solve and implement timely solutions that meet business needs. This role effectively communicates the rationale potential areas of risk while having the functional expertise to provide valid solutions. This role caters to those who thrive when given the chance to analyze and solve issues, and doing so in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Members of the Controls team have the opportunity to interact with every single department within the Fulfillment Center.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma/GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines
Ability to analyze information and processes, identify root causes to issues and bring issues to closure
Solid decision-making ability
Ability to adapt to and champion change
Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills
