We are seeking an experienced Automation Robotics Engineer to lead the charge in robotics solutions for our growing automation engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing robotics solutions that align with the automation strategy and collaborating with different teams to carry-out robotics projects.

You will make an impact by:

  • Designing, programming, and Integrating robotics solutions (i.e. assembly, welding, material handling) in a manufacturing factory environment.

  • Choosing appropriate robotics solutions (i.e. articulated arm, collaborative robot) based on task requirements and workspace constraints.

  • Collaborating with 3 rd party vendors and system integrators for automation/robotics solutions.

  • Exploring new robotics technologies to improve manufacturing processes and training engineers.

  • Developing a robotics maintenance strategy and scoping and estimating automation/robotics projects.

  • Commissioning robotics solutions and executing SCADA/PLC Integration.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, combined with minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial automation.

  • Proven experience working with cobots and experience working with AGVs/AMRs and vision systems.

  • Understanding of industrial network communication protocols including Profinet, Modbus, and OPC UA, in addition to the understanding of commissioning robotic solutions.

  • Understanding of control systems integration and proven experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, MES, IIOT, and key Industry 4.0 objectives.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Understanding of digital twins and virtual commissioning of robotics solutions.

  • Proven experience developing robotics business cases.

  • Proven experience working with stakeholders to convert requirements into solutions.

  • Understanding of generative AI solutions in a manufacturing factory environment.

  • The pay range for this position is $59,100 - $79,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
