Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Human Resource Coordinator to join our TEAM! As the Human Resource Coordinator, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as manage HR functions within HR system, assist local HR team and research and run reports as needed.
Primary Objective.
Provides a wide variety of administrative support to the HR department.
Major Function and Scope
Monitors, audits and reports on key metrics and functions on an on-going basis by working within HR systems
Assists local HR team and Dal-Tile HR function by coordinating critical processes and programs (hiring, wellness initiatives, Safety function support, AAP, succession planning, performance management, postings, etc)
Supports defined functional areas within HR in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.
Researches confidential employee data and runs reports as needed.
Codes invoices and processes for payment as required for defined areas of support. Researches questionable invoices as necessary.
Provides basic administrative support, i.e. maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, auditing expense reports, ordering supplies/catering, answering phones, opening & distributing mail, drafting communications and presentations, etc.
Maintains compliance in areas of responsibility (hiring, SOX audits, immigration, etc).
Maintains document control of forms, policies and procedures.
Tracks all departmental expenses for budgetary purposes.
Drives continuous improvement in area of responsibility by streamlining or automating processes, communication, training, etc.
Assists in maintaining and distributing all new hire orientation packets. Serves as back-up for HQ New hire orientation.
Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas.
Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High School diploma or equivalent experience, degree preferred. Knowledge of HR practices and processes preferred.
5 or more years of administrative experience; preferably in an HR department.
Competencies
Excellent customer service skills. Strong computer skills in spreadsheets, charts, and word-processing. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Confidentiality a must.
